I am engaged in a hellish up hill battle at providing an authentic voice and representation of those with a disAbility that will break the Hollywood stereotypes, help end the incredibly blatant discrimination and allow us to REPRESENT OURSELVES! You can read more of this on my website AbilitiesUnited.com or my site blog - LarrysBlog.AbilitiesUnited.com It is something that requires the voice of everyone - especially those who this affects - those with a disAbility, their family and friends who wish to have what Hollywood thinks it can provide without us - our voice - our opportunity to represent ourselves - able bodies actors, writers and direcotrs can only use other able bodied representations of those with a disAbility in film as their examples - their motiviation and this onlky perpetuates the incredible injustice of having a fair and equal representation in today's entertainment. But that will change and I will do whatever I can to help that - but I cannot do it alone and I look forward to meeting others who are willing to speak out about this and those who also want to work as writers, directors and actors in Hollywood.
