I am new to this site and it is a whole new experience for me. I haven’t adapted the personna of a “professional” wheeler yet. I am still embarrassed about having no legs and using a chair. I know I shouldn’t be and I should be glad I am a survivor.

I do everything to divert attention for my legs and chair.  If I am out clubbing and somebody is staring at me, I pull my top down to divert their attention. Since I rarely wear a bra, it usually works. At work, I transfer onto a stool and sit at a counter so most of the customers don’t even know I a crip.

I hope this group will give me as much confidence to expose my body below the waist as I do to show it off above the waist.
