Hi all one or two quick questions for you all, in that I was wondering how many have been on a back up course and if anyone can recommend one for me as seriously thinking of getting involved with the charity. However although I get full DLA I am somewhat dependant on other state benefits for income, and therefore funds are somewhat reduced, therefore if anyone can recommend the courses which would be best suited for me I will be truly grateful.
Also thinking of getting involved in some form of disabled sports, but unsure which will be the beast route; I am interested in wheelchair basketball and rugby (but am not a high level lesion which prohibits me from this sport), but as per above I will be interested in hearing peoples opinions
Regards
Mel

I haven't been on a BackUp course however a friend who is incomplete para T5 and another who is Complete T6 went skiing in Colorado and had a brilliant time. They do basket ball and rugby at Stoke you could try contacting them via the web. I don't thing a low lesion will prohibit your taking part.
FifiWhilst I was in Stoke go the chance to try quite a few sports including Archery and shooting which I loved. Also table tennis which I was rubbish at but enjoyed.
Good luck
