    Welcome to The Wheel Life

Saturday, September 22, 2007, 05:54 PM GMT [General]

Welcome to my profile. I am Grant's best friend and co-founder of The Wheel Life. Since Grant's accident 4 years ago I have seen how amazing and inspiring people in wheel chairs, their families and friends can be. Grant's first year in a chair was the most challenging and testing time of his life! Not only did he have to deal with living life on 4 wheels, but he also contracted MRSA in hospital! It was a lot to deal with and also incredibly tough for his mum and dad, his brother and friends to know how to cope with such a huge life change. It was Grant who really showed us all that his disability was not going to stop him from doing anything.

    Me and Grant

Grant has always projected such positivity into every situation that is thrown at him. The Wheel Life is fundamentally about showing other people that you can still live life to the full in a wheel chair. It's an insight into other wheelchair users' lives and how they deal with situations. By reading other peoples' stories you will hopefully gain the knowledge and confidence to venture into things you never thought you'd ever do again. Or simply make new friends across the World. We hope that family and friends will also reach out to other families with similar problems and concerns.
