I am considering buying the Invacare 'Topan'  powered wheelchair.

Has anyone got this wheelchair?

Living in Scotland and in a village, I need to have something that is suitable for outdoor as well as indoor.

Perhaps some of you members can advise me of your own powered wheelchairs and what made you decide on your choice.  If you will be so kind.

Obivously there are so many choices out there and I want to make sure I find the most appropriate - hence any advice by all of you - would be greatly appreciated.

Blindness in vision

Denies not the image

That is before me now.

For the aroma

Allows me the opportunity

To check memory banks

So vast are they

Until perhaps

I can define

This smell.

 Hands so gentle

And have been in caring

Of years in numbers

One cares not

To calculate.

Now they become

The visual mind

As they delicately

As if in forensic role

Survey that before me

Helps guide my way.

Blindness in vision

Be of no doubt

The harshness one feels

As each new day dawns.

And yet one is eager to learn

For I must decide

The future ahead

Is now only

Within my hands.
