NEWPORT IS OLD WORLD PRETTY, BUT NOT VERY CHAIR FRIENDLY IN A WAY. But then again being from the tiny little state of Rhode Island I walked alot of these street too. Hi fifi, glad the story gave you some pleasure. For me, at the time it was very much a catharsis; working out what had happened and how I'd coped. Only when I'd finished the story could life really begin to move on. Funny you should ask about whats going on now, for I'm off to Villereal in two weeks and spending most of the following ten weeks on my own. The 'wife's' coming home to look after our house sale viewings (we hope). My mate has suggested my wrting a blog of events while I'm there and how I cope on my own. I'm not really on my own as Mac my hound is coming too - so I'll try to get a scribble in frequently to keep events up to date. My friends are organising a broadband line for the caravan so it should be in place when I arrive. |
